Still Life in Black and White (non-organic)

Truly fabulous, was an immediate choice, the lighting is exceptional and is what makes this image, any slight variation may not have been as effective. Everything works, the angle of the mask, the b/w, the subtle fractured cobweb, the blurry window the bottom surface and the distressed wall, nothing misses the mark. Very jealous, well done.......

Firstly I will have people complain this is organic so - 'Carbon is the universal element of organic compounds. The molecule of an organic substance must have at least one carbon atom in its molecule. Water does not contain any carbon atom in its molecule, H2O. So water is only an inorganic compound.'

Ok, brilliant image, simple but perfect, a variation on a common concept I have not seen, perfect in b/w and the lighting is genius, very well done... Each drop has its own detail and interest, perfect clarity and smoothness of surface...... Be proud.

Brilliant concept and very well constructed, going through the contest images this jumped out at me. Lovely in b/w and well-chosen items and brilliantly positioned....... You have lost slight sharpness on the scissors. Great lighting and contrast sets of the whole idea, well done...

Several versions of this in the contest but for me, this was the better one. I have done this myself but I do like the 'screw only' version and the triangle is very effective, the reflection is what makes it better than most and also the lighting works very well in this version.

I have personally attempted this myself and failed, this is a very clever version of a common concept, the reflection makes it stand out and a genius choice of b/w....... The sharpness is fab and nice to have some words showing on the first page, well thought out.

I have seen this image before but this stood out among the few similar attempts, a good image is always a good image. Very clever concept and composition, it all works and is a simple idea but very hard to get right and this perfect......

Many have attempted a similar thing but this stood out, it has a perfect scale and is super clear. Lovely idea and well throughout, I like the heavy contrast and the ability to see the whole palms, possibly accidental but I even like the small peak of the wedding ring adds an extra dimension to the concept and what people will perceive as a meaning behind the image......
