Still-Life of Cameras

First of all, thanks for entering my contest. This photo you have taken here is so unique, creative, and cool! I like how the whole image has a Dark and Moody Effect to it, it makes the photo so cool because the Vignetting makes this "circle" around the camera, it looks great! Next, the film on the bottom fits in absolutely PERFECT with the photo because it stands out, adds color to the image, and makes the photo more interesting! And the main thing I like more than anything else is how you have placed the camera on books! It really stands out this way and makes it even more the subject because it is the highest of anything in the entire photo! So amazing job on this photo and I am so happy to be able to give you Fourth Place!!!

I really like how you have used the forks to hold the camera and angle it so that way the camera is at a different perspective than usual! Also, the forks could be a representation that you are going to eat the camera. And you are exactly right how the Camera really is the Photographer's Main Menu! You can not be a photographer if you do not have a camera or nowadays, a phone! So the camera definitely is a Photographer's Main Menu! Also, I like the surrounding area of the photo, the wall is cool, and I like the table. So great job on this photo and earning a Highly Commendation!

First of all, thanks for entering my contest. This photo you have taken here is amazing! Everything about it is just fantastic. I love the use of old cameras, it makes the whole image look better. These cameras you have used for the photo here are so old and unique, I did not even know that there were cameras that were designed like this! I especially think that the camera on the top right is the best one out of all of them and it makes this photo look so much better. Another thing that I really like about this photo is the cloth you have chosen for the table, it is such a bright-colored purple and really makes everything stand out and makes this photo a lot more interesting. Also, the Vintage Effect makes this photo look even better because since the cameras really are Vintage, it is better off having the photo look Vintage as well! First of all, thanks for entering my contest. This photo you have taken here is super creative and well thought out. I like everything about it. One of the coolest and most creative things about the image is the Purple blanket. You have placed the blanket in the image to make it more natural looking and to give the illusion that this photo was not set up, but rather just a simple photo taken of some old stuff on a table, I really like that! Plus, how the blanket curves into the photo makes it noticeable and makes it looks relaxed. I especially love the camera since it is so old and has so much detail and other cool features on it. I like the boxes, especially with all those keys in it. It makes this photo have wonder to it like "Is the box going to be opened up since the keys are in the lock?" Or " if the box Is opened up, what could be inside there?" Also, the "model" is great! I like how the "model's" legs are crossed to give the illusion that it is a real person and it really is going to be photographed! And how you have placed the "model's" arm in front of its face makes it look like it does not want to be photographed or to wait on the photograph because it want to fix something so the picture will look better! There are other things about this photo that make it really good like the background or the pictures, but this is all I am going to explain. So outrageous job on this photo, you have put in so much time and effort to take this simple, but complicated photo! Awesome Job!

First of all, thanks for entering my contest. This photo you have taken here is awesome! I really like how you have used the Magnifying Glass to take a good Macro shot of the Pine Cones! I really like that idea! You have taught me a new trick to take photos, I would have never thought of doing that to take a macro shot! One thing I want to point out, this photo is not much of a Still-Life photo, but when you look at the Viewfinder, it is a really good Still-Life image! So that is why I like this photo for this contest so much! Also, how you have set up everything is really nice and makes this photo even better. For example, how the camera is on the lens cap, how the Magnifying Glass is standing up and looks like it is standing by itself!!! So that is why I am giving you a Highly Commendation! Great Job!

The Vintage Effect looks awesome.

The camera is super cool, the apple adds color to the image and makes it more brighter.

Also, the knife is a good idea because it makes this photo unique and surprising. In usual Still-Life, a knife is not the thing I see every day! So to me, I think this is a really great idea.

Another thing that is cool, is how the apple and knife are in back of glass, this makes the photo a lot better and adds wonder to the image because it is sort of hidden.

And the last thing I want to point out is how the camera is taking a picture of the apple and knife, this is such a great idea! So amazing job on this photo and I am so happy to be able to give you Fifth Place!!!

I like how you have placed the cameras, they look like dominoes or that they have been sitting so long on the suitcase that they are ready to fall off! I like how you have chosen cameras with Different colors to make this photo even more interesting. I also like the suitcase, it is so old and looks like it could have come from an old Pirate's ship or something! So incredible job on this photo and this is why I am giving you Second Place!!!

I think it is a great idea how you have put the littlest camera on top since it stands out and lets the viewers see it because if it was not on the box, it would be partly hidden behind the other two cameras. Another thing that is really great about this image it how you have managed to make the concept of the image about the Past and the Present or about how cameras have evolved because just like you read left to right, you have placed the cameras left to right to, I think this is a great idea. I love how the photo is sort of in Black and White, but has a sort of a really light Orange, Vintage Color to it! This photo has so many cool cameras that look great in this image! I absolutely LOVE the long lens (or maybe camera) in back because it is so long and looks super cool and unique! I love the little cameras, love the book, and love the glass balls. Everything is so great about this image and I really like how you have taken all kinds of different things and managed to fit them into one picture, sometimes this does not work out the best, but here you have managed to actually make the photo better because you have to keep looking at the photo to see everything that is there! And another thing that I really think is neat is the little green light in the right corner! It adds some color to this image and I think makes the whole photo just a bit more interesting than it already is. Also, having a picture of a ladybug displayed on the LCD screen is a great idea because it brings color to the image and if you had not thought of displaying that photo, the picture would have been a lot more plain and boring looking. I love everything about it, especially how the color Blue and Grey are in the background, this makes the colors really go against each other, makes the photo more interesting and the colors striking. The camera, however, is in such a position that it makes this photo so much different than the others, it really stood out for me. No one in this whole contest entered a photo that was of a camera hanging. Everyone else's was of cameras on a table or something like that, so I thought it would make a great finale for the Top Ten of this contest having a photo like this. So great job on this photo and you definitely deserved to finish in at least 10th Place!!!

I love how you have put the camera strap in such a position that it looks relaxed or care-less. It would be nice if the camera was a bit more in focus but it is good enough. I like how the camera stands out the most from anything else since it is completely a different color, Black.
