Still-Life on a Black Background

The eggs were photographed in all ways. It is a very eye-catching object for a photographer and each one tries to take advantage of the shadows and roundness of this object. On the other hand, in the picture awarded I really appreciated the personal vision of the photographer who exploited the light in a certain way by creating artificial shadows on the surface. The result has given the image a unique charm and delicacy.

Congratulations on winning the contest! I really enjoyed the experimental side of this unusual still life image including the reflections and refractions of the glass. I also appreciated the trail of novelty, a new way of photographing an object as difficult as glass. This photo is technically and aesthetically flawless.

The richness of the composition, including all its elements, placed in the right place to create the hidden rhythms attract the eye: the red checkered tablecloth, the meandering meter on the sewing machine and the vintage-flavored goose puppet. The image is slightly ironic and fairytale. I gave the 2nd place to this classic still life masterpiece.

I found this image very captivating and witty. An unusual image of vegetables and fruit, different from the usual classic still life. Probably with a good dose of post production, but with Light Painting it is a necessary path to achieve an effective and spectacular result. Congratulations on the brilliant and unique idea!

They are only three apples. But if we look more carefully, there are many things and moods around us. The light painting technique for these subjects is a godsend. But what I appreciated is the slightly wet reflective support that gave to the image a unique and absolutely non-trivial monochromatic atmosphere.
