Still life photography requires patience, a truly creative disposition, and a focus on technical detail. Shooting a tabletop still life offers an opportunity for photographers of any level of experience to spend time thinking how best a subject can be lit, arranged, composed and photographed, all within the carefully controlled environs of a home or studio.
The judging of this portfolio contest will take into account the cohesion of each photographer’s submitted images, in respect of subject matter, style, colour/tonal approach etc. Leaderboard ranking points (RP) earned for this contest will be applied to the first image in your submitted portfolio series.
