This shot does so many things well but most importantly, it tells such a strong and beautiful story all in one snapshot. I love the color, contrast, and composition of this photo. You've really outdone yourself and much deserving of the top spot, congrats!

This image seems a bit too altered in photoshop. The light direction that you've added doesn't seem to match the natural direction of light. Although the colors work great here, the artificial light leak really takes away from the natural beauty of the scene.

This is absolutely incredible. The light in the scene naturally draws the viewer's eye to the center of the photo and towards our main subject. This is a prime example of photojournalism and why it's so important. Excellent job and incredible capture! I also love that you chose to edit it in black and white, really does finish the photo.

The small edge highlight of the bison is really what made this photo stand out. I love how even though there are two different subjects, the composition is well balanced and one doesn't overpower the other. Beautiful color and edit as well!

I can't believe this moment happened in real life and you were lucky enough to bear witness. It is so fitting for this theme and is such a unique moment to have captured. Love the simple edit, it allows the viewer to focus on the moment rather than the edit.

This image was one of the few that I saw that fit the theme and I loved it! This is a great example of using the rule of thirds to create a solid photograph! Love the colors and edit on this as well! Such a sweet moment!

The sheer amount of detail, depth, and sharpness in this photo is what makes it award-winning. I love the bokeh that the snow creates in the photo and it does such a great job creating the perfect atmosphere. I love the colors, not too over-saturated either!

I can't stop staring at how beautiful this image is. The way the clouds infiltrate the scene and make it appear as though it's a castle in the sky. I absolutely love the shadows that are cast on the clouds too!
