This is a beautiful sunset for sure! However, the foreground elements can be a bit distracting with the tail lights almost taking away from the attention of the sunset.
When you see a great sunset like this, try to incorporate an attractive foreground to support the beauty of the sunset.
This happens a lot! We get so hung up on the beauty of the sunset that we forget to build a strong composition to support it.
I really want to push this one further. The smooth gradient in the background is a treat and your exposure is spot on with a nice composition.
However, there seems to be some sensor dust (or maybe that is a blurry bird) in the frame. I think if that was removed it would help me enjoy the serene feeling you captured here.

I love the colors here. What is awesome is that the colors of the buildings match the colors in the sky and the reflection.
I think your exposure was spot on and your post production wasn't taken too far. It matches the elegance of the scene. Well done.

Wow, this is spectacular! I see so much technical work in one scene and you handled the whole thing with mastery. This sunset is EPIC.
You have a wonderful spread of depth from the foreground to the background and the whole image feels three-dimensional because of it.
Your exposure was spot on for the water. It flows beautifully throughout the image and adds to the drama of the photo. However, if you went even 2 seconds longer I think that would have been lost. Kudos on the perfect exposure.
I am usually not a fan of sun stars. I think they are overdone and distracting. Not in this scene. The bands of light create a wash over the entire image that adds a unique flare to the whole composition.
When I think of an epic sunset, this image says it all! Very well done!

Wow, I love the light splashing in from the side on this photo. We are presented with a beautiful scene and a great place for our feet to walk. Your color control and grading are fantastic for the scene and the fog is a real treat.

What can I say, I think you mastered the exposure on this one. There is a lot of dynamic range from the foreground to the background of this scene and you handled it with finesse.
The whole scene has a way of pulling us in and around and the colors are as dramatic as the crashing waves. Well done.

This scene has so much to offer the viewer. There is a lot of motion happening toward the focal point of the image and the scene is tied together by that wonderful umbrella-like cloud. I appreciate your post-production work here.

We have all been out there shooting the landscape in hopes that we will get “That Epic Sunset”. Sometimes it hits us like a ton of bricks and other times the sky just isn’t dancing for us. Either way, we landscape photographers live for it. For this contest, we want to see your epic sunsets. Whatever that means to you. For some, that epic sunset is when the clouds lit the sky on fire. For others, it might be when the sun kissed the side of a mountain as it said “goodnight” for the day. Either way, we want to see it!

I think you have a beautiful color grade here with a very nice composition. I just wish the Horizon line was straightened.
A tilted horizon can be used to add tension to an image and can be successful, but with a photo like this, I feel the horizon has to be straight or I start to tilt my head to look at it.
