The Beauty of Macro

The thing I love about the world of photography is the opportunity that can stem from it. Your photo captures an amazing moment. The size of the butterfly is a perfect contrast with the robber fly. The color palette flows smoothly. Overall, I think this photo is absolutely wonderful! Congratulations!

An aspect every photographer should try to strive for is uniquity. There were MANY photos of insects, leaves, etc. within the macro challenge. Your photo of these screws was a refreshing site. The textures are exemplary. The colors blend together well. The light is superb and a direct result of your efforts. Great job bringing interest something normally bland.

This was one of the sharpest photos I had the privilege of seeing in my challenge. The leaf acts as a sort of frame in itself. When you add such a beautiful subject, it results in an amazing photo. Great job!

When a photo like this is submitted to a challenge about macro photography, it is a no-brainer that it should in the very least be in the top ten. There were quite a few extreme macro shots such as this, but yours had a nice combination of clarity, framing, and color. The yellow pops and draws the eye. Fantastic job!

Within the many photos that I viewed throughout this challenge, yours was one of the few that stuck out. It's a beautiful new perspective on a snail. Most would not think to do something like this. Congratulations on a beautiful photo.
