The Colour Green

I just want to start by thanking you and everyone else who has entered this contest. As number five on my top ten, I have chosen this very delicate and classic close-up of a flower in beautiful delicate green tones. Composition and image processing are top notch. My compliments and congratulations :-)

Many close-ups of leaves have been submitted in this contest. This stands out significantly due to its dramatic appearance, which is probably due to the dark and muted color choice. The leaf texture is beautiful and detailed. Excellent work, my compliment and a place as number two :-)

I have chosen this fantastic still life or product image for third place. Beautiful subdued green color scale and a very nice light that focuses on the details. You can see the bubbles in the glass, see that the bottle is cold and, together with the glossy table top, it looks great with the very matte background. A picture with a great mood. The strongly minimalistic composition in this aerial photo is the reason why I have ranked this image as number four in my top ten. The simple and at the same time beautiful color scheme underlines the minimalist look. I could easily see this picture hanging on a wall. My compliments and congratulations :-)

Unusually beautiful conceptual portrait. In addition to the very harmoniously muted green color scale, the image is excellently styled and the pattern in the girl's robe plays nicely with the leaf shapes in the background.
