Very impressed by the 3 stitched pano shot here. I have been thinking for a long time how to get everything in the image from this location and you have done an amazing job in the stitch. I like the interest in the sky, and the light on the middle of the image separates the shot up well. Nice work :-)
This image ticks all the boxes for me. Great angle, perfect focus, amazing light, great location. You have done well in getting the motion in the water and it looks good without looking fake. The eye has room to move up the image, up the stream and into the BG. I like the way that this has been composed to minimize the brown colours in the image, apart from the wheel, which help make this stand out. Very nicely done, and well done on taking 1st place :-)
I love the way that you have a human element in this shot and the way that it is composed that you can see how far the person has walked up. This would be an amazing memory photo and I would not of hesitated in getting this printed and put on my wall. if I was the person in the shot. Breath taking views of the Lake District as well. Very nice work :-)
There were a few images of this location and it was very hard to pick from them all. I really liked the movement in the water in this shot, and the moss on the rocks on the left looked really good. Sky looks a little clouded over, but the Mill is nicely framed by the trees. Well done on a great shot.
This shot is so interesting and I love the way that you have composed this image. Maybe it's my mad mind, bit it looks like the tree is running away and it has just jumped over the wall, but it was a little too high and it clipped the top. I know, I did say my mad mind.... Sky is very impressive and I like the way that you have retained the details in the tree, rather than turning just to black/silhouetted. This kid of wall is typical Lake District and was a pleasure to see something a little different than the normal locations. Well done :-)
As there were a few from this location, it was hard to pick from the section, but I do like the slightly faster shutter speed in this shot so that the water was not as blurred. You have a pleasing location to take the shot, and the image has an almost HDR look to it. This will definitely make my list of locations to visit is I ever make it back to the Lake District. Well done :-)
I would love to know the location of this shot and the story behind the interesting carving on the stone? The black and white of this shot gives the viewer a chance to see the subject of the rock and take in the pattern, which would not be so prominent if this had highly saturated trees in the BG. Well done :-)
I really enjoyed the black and white take of this popular location, where you would normally see something that is high in saturation. The white of the house stands out and gives a nice interest and a sense of scale to the shot. Lighting in the BG and in the reflections is really nice too. Well done :-)
I can literally feel the rain and wind, just by looking at this image and converting it to black and white helps the mood here. The way that the tree looks like it is blowing over to the right of the shot is great. The fog and mist in the BG, but not too much to obscure the mountains in the distance is great. The separation that you have in the shot, but putting the darker tree against the lighter sky, but the fact that you have not just blown the highlights out in the sky to achieve this is good work. Well done one a great image :-)

I was torn between 3 images from this location and I struggled to pick from them all. This image definitely has a feel to it and I can imagine myself being there and feeling the cold. The clouds over the mountains add to this image and I like the way that the stone house in the FG does not jump out of the image and slap you in the face. It's almost like the first thing that you see is the water and the reflections, then your eye wonders and you see ore and more in the shot. Well done :-)
