Perfect rabbit in a perfect composite image! The angle, the detail the combination of colors is simply outstanding. You can almost visualize the whole scene and the unbelievable speed of this lovely creature. I liked everything about this photo: the composition, the colors, the quality of the detail, everything. It is such a wonderful depiction of the beautiful relationship between the surfer and the river, where the former is trying to keep the perfect balance between being in control and letting himself carried by the inexorable motion of the waves. What I like most about a perfect pan like this one is that it gives you space to go beyond the image itself and to really focus on the emotions of it. When the composition, the sharpness of the image and the post-processing are flawless like that, and even enhanced by the added black & white drama, you have the chance to briefly glimpse into the mind of such a subject, to almost feel their tension and incredible focus. It was nevertheless a very difficult choice as there were so many great pictures submitted for this contest. I felt very privileged to go through all of them a few times and admire them over and over again!

For this contest I am looking for your photos depicting motion. The subject could be anything that is moving such as motorcycles, cars, animals or people. Photos capturing movement by panning are preferred, but any other photos where the motion is obvious are also accepted. Both colour and black and white pictures are welcome. I look forward to seeing your wonderful creations.
