This beautifully composed and sublimely lit shot looks almost painterly, thanks to the skilful post-processing that has been applied. The setting of a stately home library and backdrop of bookshelves packed with dusty tomes gives a timeless feel to a wonderful family portrait, and is a clever and original take on the 'time for tea' theme. Working with a large number of models is never an easy task – particularly if one of them is a four-legged friend! – making this a well-deserved winner.

The history of tea is a long one; spanning centuries and cultures all the way from Shang Dynasty China to the tables and teapots of people around the world today. A ceremony for some, a habit for many – Tea time is a coming together, and a light relief from the slog of the day. There is no 'right' time to have tea, and no 'wrong' time either. But when it's time, it's time. This is a contest for **Canon cameras only**.
