Rail networks criss-cross our nations, and are a perennial favourite of photographers. In this contest any imagery of trains, the infrastructure that carries and supports them, and the stations where they pick up and deposit their loads are welcomed. We’re celebrating both the old and the new, the technology and the people that make this form of transport so important still, and perhaps poised to be even more so again, as we seek more environmentally sustainable ways than the car and the plane to get us and our goods around.
