Transport

This is a very striking image. I was instantly attracted to the almost perfect reflection in the shiny sides of the train, taking up what feels like half of the image. Also, the way that the reflection makes the photo appear flipped horizontally is so cool.

Additionally, I love the immense steam belching out of the train's engine, and the detail on that hill! Congratulations.

I loved this image! I love snowy landscapes, and with mountains or hills in them, even better.

The lighting is soft and peaceful yet a bit dramatic, which I love. The slumbering walruses seem obilivious to both the passing sailboat, and to the photographer. They're just props, it almost seems. Yet, one is watching the photographer sleepily.

Horses are my favorite animals, and this photo is a horse lovers dream. Galloping through the water with a friend is pure delight. I love how you captured the exact joy and fun in the moment, and the millions of water splashes. I really enjoy looking at this photo. Congratulations!

I love the dramatic and dark tone to this image. I love dramatic images, and this one feels exciting though not spooky or anything. The photo feels straight, though the plane tilted at an angle.

I love how the plane is caught in perfect focus, while the moody clouds behind the plane set it off perfectly, as well as the hills or mountains with what appears to be fog.

This nighttime shot of what appears to be a cruise ship is highly interesting! I love how you captured the angle that makes the enormous cruise ship appear to have a very long pointed "snout." It looks fairly small and yet huge in another fashion.

The darkness of the surroundings, whil the cruise ship is lit up and has sparkling lights around it, is very pleasing and evokes an excited feeling.

This image is extremely interesting. First off, the sunset colors catch the eye. Then, the lift on wires is the transport element to the image, as per the contest name.

Additionally, the background mountains, city lit up at sunset, and then the cluttered river/body of water also provide elements to the image for interest.

This is an amazing photo!! It looks like something out of a movie. The old ship caught my eye at once, along with the rocks, sea, and sunset.

From the description, this ship is a model, and not real size. I almost wouldn't have noticed! Great job on this photo.

This is a stunning photo! What drew my eye to it first of all was the old fashioned looking train, and especially the big clouds of steam/smoke rising. The colors and composition were very eye pleasing as well. I love how both the road and the train are leading lines of a sort, leading out of the image. Congratulations on 1st place.

I have a particular love for the night sky, and seeing this stunning shot of the Milky Way arching over this cool camping van was delightful.

Absolutely great job on this photo, the shadows aren't too bright, distracting from the amazing sky. If there was anything I'd change, I'd make this photo a tiny bit lighter.

This photo is a particularly attracting type of photo. The landscape is very interesting, providing interest from the upwards photo angle. But the hot air balloons are in the way. They provide a reason to stop, to take a closer look at all the different elements in the image.

The lighting is divine, and the colors simply pop, though not contrasting too much, with the background landscape. Great job!
