A beautiful shot, so peaceful and just wonderful, everything works so well, love the mono effect and it was so close to winning, looking at this image makes me what to take a trip to the coast and try to take something like this.....

For me this is the perfect shot, its just stunning, exposure, focus and composition is spot on. For me this competition isn't just about travel it's about the journey and making me to want to go to that place, I'm also wondering what journey the Priest has taken, stunning image and a deserved winner.

Oh i love this image so much, purists will complain that it breaks the odd number rule 'there should be 3 or 5 they will cry' but i love it. The look she gives is just wonderful and the colours and exposure is just right, I want to go to Japan right now!
