I really liked the scale and perspective in this image. The figures on the path show the vast size of the of landscape. The use of the soft tones and haze set the mood for this striking image. A very good entry.

I really like the colour and vibrancy of this image. I also felt that the photographer captured the energy and mood of the brief and this image really stood out for me. I like the original and unique entry. This image is a celebration of travel and a worthy winner in my opinion.

I really liked the crisp, sharp and clean lines of this image. The use of the vertical orientation to frame this image works well as the photographer does not have to lose any of the detail. I find the curves of the architecture fascinating and appreciate the balance of teal against the terracota.

I really liked the crisp and sharp lines of the buildings. The glow of the lights set the mood and the image is nicely balanced by the reflection in the water. The framing using the boats act as leading lines and this brings interest to the image.

I liked the original use of light painting as a way to bring interest and originality to the image. The swirls of light draw the eye of the viewer and work well against the chequered light and shadow patterns on the ground.

I thought that this was a striking yet simple image from Paris. I think that it could be improved if the building in background on the bottom right hand corner was cropped out. The lines and contrast during blue hour bring the image to life.

I liked this long exposure shot from Paris and thought that this was a clever and interesting perspective on the theme. This original point of view the Eiffel Tower in the background glowing is subtle and effective. A good image in my opinion.

I really like this unique entry which was immediately recognisable as an italian gondola. It is a well composed image providing depth and texture. I think the image would benefit from a slightly tighter crop on the left hand side of the image as there is a shadow in the water which is a bit distracting. A good entry overall.

I thought that this a simple yet effective and original perspective of the British museum. The photographers use colour and tones give a sense warmth that most photographers do not use when photographing this space. This is a clever interpretation of the brief.

I liked how the photographer has captured the mood with this misty image. The bridge fading into the mist helps to bring the focus of the viewer to the foreground. I think that the edit could possible be improved as the gondola feels slightly over contrasted. An interesting perspective.

There were many images of the Taj Mahal entered into this competition. I was drawn specifically to this image due to the photographers use symmetry. The image is well shot and I especially like the softness of the sky which evokes the feeling of peace in the space.

I really like how the photographer has used the curve of the boats as a leading line to draw the viewers eye. The lovely calming edit, which I feel is nicely balanced with tones and textures from the boats to the water to the mountain range. A good image.

I was drawn to this image due to the graphic use of heavy contrast which lends itself well to the enormity of the Golden Gate Bridge. There is a some noise in bottom half of the image but this can be forgiven as the framing of the image use of leading lines draws the eye to the top of the frame. A lovely image.

I really like the framing of this image and the clever use of the foliage which almost acts as a vignette drawing the eye into the main focus, the pagoda. Lovely use of colour and tone. A well balanced image.

This is a well balanced image with great use of the horizontal and vertical. The perspective is ever so slightly off on the left hand side which a slight adjustment would fix to improve the image in my opinion. A mesmerizing image.
