Trees in Colour

Thank you for entering the competition. I love the crispness and variety in this image. The tree is a wonderful shape and a clear focal point. The light is excellent, perfect for enhancing the water and the mountains. Importantly, the colour balance works perfectly, with no over-amplification.

Thank you for entering the competition. I have visited this area and this image showcases it perfectly. These particular trees have small leaves that in the Autumn are unusually crisp. I feel this image captures that well. The composition draws the eye to the trees, despite the great mountain. The light is beautiful and the colours are not over-amplified.

Thank you for entering the competition. This is a great shot. I really like the perspective. It gives the impression of the forest going on for miles. It’s all about the beauty of trees. There is just the right balance of light and the sky allows the image to be uplifting, rather than perhaps, a little oppressive, and it might be on a darker day.
