What a beautiful shot of the Adult Hoopoe feeding its youngster . The image is in focus, nicely framed with a a subtle background and on brief. I bet you were well pleased capturing this wonderful moment in time. Congratulations

This great action shot of the White Tailed Eagles fighting, came a close second for me. It fits the brief perfectly, with a lot of interaction as their lethal claws come together with wings outstretched and eyes on each other. What a great capture of these magnificent birds!

As soon as I saw this photograph my reaction was Wow! The close up of the action with the tight crop of the Gannets fighting over the fish, is outstanding. The Gannets are in focus and the feather detail on the birds with their blue eyes add to the beauty of the shot. It therefore makes it to my No 1 spot - well done!

The key word in my brief was 'Interaction' and this shot demonstrates this very well. The relatively slow shutter speed of 1/640th (due to the low light) provides the blur on the wings that highlights their speed. Amazingly their heads and bodies remain sharp. The image is enhanced by the yellow plumage of the birds standing out against the snow. Well done!

Great capture of these beautiful Kingfisher pair! I hope you don't mind me saying but can i suggest reducing the brightness of the image a little as it looks a little over exposed. This will bring out the colours more and move it up the rankings.

Super shot of the incoming Kingfisher with another having caught a fish. Looking at the colouring on the beaks I think they could both be female. As you may know the female has an orang coloured lower beak whereas the male is all black. You wisely used a high shutter speed of 1/3200 to freeze the action, but it shows how fast their wings beat are , as the tips of the wings are blurred, highlighting the movement - I personally like to see this and congratulate you on a great shot

What a beautiful shot of the colourful Beeater's with the male about to pass a Butterfly as a gift, sealing their marriage. The shot is in focus with a complementary background. This captures a beautiful moment in time and well worthy of 4th place.

A superb capture of these beautiful birds wit the male's wings outstretched as they mate. it is well framed, in focus and a has a lovely subdued background. It fits the brief and shows what you can get if use a camo tent, with a lot of patience - well done

A rare capture of mating Kingfishers. I have taken a lot of Kingfisher shots and never seen a mating pair - very envious. You were some distance away using a 800mm lens with a high shutter speed of 1/4000th and small aperture at F11 . Reducing to F8 or lower if possible, would have helped reduce the noise and pushed this up the rankings. Never the less, a wonderful image of a rare moment in time - well done!

Just love this image with the soft lighting affect. Perhaps you could have used a slower shutter speed than 1/5000 which would have reduced the ISO and noise. If the image can hold up to it to, personally i would have cropped in a bit more. never the less, a beautiful capture!

Another great action shot. As they mate I just love the way the female Inca Tern is looking up at the male. The image s in focus, well framed and fits the brief. A nice capture of two beautiful birds - well done!

The weed dance between Great Crested Grebes is a special moment as the birds seal their bond and a prelude to mating. You have captured this very well with the 2 birds at different angles, but still showing their faces and wonderful head detail - well done
