This shot has such a nice soft feel to it. The eye the hat and the flowing hair, beautifully cropped not only fits the brief but it's a winning shot. The use of high key black and white perfectly suits this image. Well done.

This images fits the brief perfectly. The choice of subject, the lighting and the amazing color of the boy's eyes, which has been emphasized nicely, with the shallow depth of field at f/2.8 and finally the choice of the out of focus background color matching the eyes makes this image top of my choice. This shot is filled with character. You have really got the best out of your subject. However, upon enlarging it seems a tiny tad soft perhaps because of the slow shutter speed. But all in all a great photo and I love it. Well done!

I noticed that this image was well liked by the photo crowd folks. I think that this is a great image, however two slight adjustments would have made it perfect. I personally think that the chin should not have been cropped (So more chin and less hat) and also the contrast lacks white. Other than that a great shot. Well done!
