It is an interesting camouflage pattern. Again I would say it is not extremely difficult to identify it. However, I like the single color pattern and back ground blur. I believe it is a Bacillus rossius (Stick insect). The photographer can double check and change the title that portrays this as a grasshopper.
Owls have tremendous potential to camouflage to avoid detection while hunting. I have seen several images of owl camouflaging. This one truly stands out. With eyes closed, it would take some time to notice it (although not difficult to identify). A great shot that also portrays a good DOF as well.
This is an absolutely spectacular shot that takes us to a dreamy fungal world. I like the the hyphae and the sporangium shaped structures on the windshield giving a perplexing view and artistic imaginary. Thanks for sharing the stunning shot that I think was shot due to photographer's observant skills. In total, a well deserved winning image.

In this contest, I would like to see your photographs of subjects that require careful observation before you can deduce what it is. You might need to look twice or multiple times to decide what exactly you are looking at. Subjects could be anything you like but images should be as captured in-camera, so strictly no composites. Camouflaged subjects are one of the many options, however I believe there are plenty of other options as well.
