Very nice composition with the fisheye feel which works well in this tight space but gives us a complete view of the scene. The room is full of interest and the tone works well. The homely feel pours out its nice to see a story in an image and there are many elements including the girl, the old man, supper, clocks or time, even the carpet and fireplace seem dated...... Fits the brief to perfection and we even see that the news is on.......

Clever rather abstract image with plenty of mystery. I like the colours on the screens and the blur to each adds more to the mystery. The figure seems to have headphones and is studying the screens with intensity. Not quite sure what is in the foreground 'beanbags' but it completes the strangeness........ Plenty of effort and well done....

Nice image that gives us a behind the scenes image of what does happen in many homes behind the curtains. Great lighting and composition. It says 'morning' but I get more of a late late night vibe. Nice composition and good use of the corner of the room with portrait layout. Effective lighting and even the leaning shade and comfy cushions give normality.....

Kids love being on the floor right up to the tv does it 'square' the eyes - no that was 30 years ago...... Nice minimalist scene but still with interest, the door, window blinds, wallpaper, even the flooring, hard to get a clear tv so however you did it well done...... Nice lighting and choice of framing..... She doesnt look comfy but wont care her favourite show is on......

Christmas time is family time and for many, it's tv time. This sums up many many living rooms during the festive period. Great composition with seeing the tv but having the back of the viewer's heads. I can see and feel Christmas in millions of homes right here....... Nice composition and even the angles add interest......

There were many images of children's faces only and this one stood out for me - this is what being a kid is no cares no worries just lazy easy times absorbed in the tv......Many people object to kids watching tv but their kids who cares life ahead is hard enough let live let be, nice composition and possibly the b/w also swayed me, clever angle so that even the camera is not interesting enough......

Love it, you say it's a simple image, yes but it stands out with its unusual composition and framing, the vibrant colours 'eye catching'. The pinks very clever even if accidental. Nice lighting and I like the shade in the whole scene but for the girl and the tv, simple but effective and an image to treasure of your daughter........

Photos need to tell a story and this to me is - moved into new house and first evening priority is get the tv set up but we have no sofa yet..... I like the composition and closeness of the girl and the background boxes. The depth of field works well as the focus is the face then you're drawn across to the invisible tv..........

From the description it states 'football' and this single moment depicts it to perfection we can sense the man's intensity and passion. Despite no tv, we know what is going on...... The blur of the background gives interest but doesnt ditract......

I do like this image and it deserves comment, sadly just missed out of a top 10. I like its concept and the thought involved is to be appreciated. One issue with me is the blue light bottom right is distracting........
