It is lovely to see the conflation of landscape and wedding photography in the same image. The dark and moody handling of the monochrome tones adds a touch of romantic drama. The line of the mountain stream leading to a dip in the horizon seems to follow the apparent direction of the bride's gaze, a subtle and eloquent touch.
What a stunning image! I love the restraint and control. The handling of the tonality and rendering of the bride's face in a near silhouette was inspired. The tack-sharp eyelashes are perfect. The very subtle light creates a hint of detail, depth and shape in the neck, lips, and jaw and the veil's fabric is beautifully controlled. Top-notch.

We're rarely photographed more than when we’re at a wedding, especially if it's our own! And recording the special day is no longer the sole preserve of the wedding photographer, as guests nowadays get involved in every photo opportunity with their phones and cameras. Wedding portraiture used to be a formal affair, but there’s been a shift towards more candid, reportage style imagery, so we can expect a wide variety of both posed and more relaxed wedding portraiture in this contest.
Seeing a photographer using infrared for a wedding is an impressive and daring feat. But the results look stunning; it's worked exceptionally well, and the magical otherworldliness creates a lovely effect. It must have been quite a challenge getting the tones and colours just right, so kudos to you!
