August 2018

This was a great black and white image and a truly a wonderful moment in a fantastic location with all the right elements in place. However, it's a pity the photographer didn't crop out the kids buggy on right.

This is one of these fantastic locations where the Image is let down by poor post production (flipping from left to right!) See right hand side. also more attention needs to go into posing the bride and placement of her arms/ hands.

A great setup however the hot spots left and right are very distracting and are more or less the brightest part of the image ! due to poor control of flash. Man also standing on left hand side should have been cloned out.

Any type of detailed shots like these would not be considered competition prints. They are fine as filler prints in wedding albums or backgrounds, even for blogging, but that's about it even though couples will request them to be taken.

Great location, wonderful warm tones also. There are a few things that can improve this image as it is. No 1. is to straighten the verticals on the right of the image also you will note the horizontals on the bottom are running off as well. One last thing which is a major problems at weddings at the moment is mobile phones in pockets .....

A really wonderful location and tender moment with this couple. However, there seems to be a lot of banding in the sky. I can't tell if this is from post production or working in 8 bit colour. Also you will note that tree coming out of the lady's face and head is distracting, so just watch out for distracting backgrounds.
