The fun nature of this image is the draw card- this is evident by the way the woman is throwing up her arms as if to ask why she is asked to dress in this fashion and be placed upon a long tall box.- one can not help but smile on viewing The shape of the box also tends to compliment the portrait style being used. Attention is given to the smallest detail such as the steps leading from one corner and ending in the other. The depth provided by the steps also tends to draw the viewer into the image. The minimalism and negative space works well against the slightly textured wall- this tends to compliment the image rather than to distract from the point of interest.The shades of tan and brown also provide a softening effect to the little girl and emphasizes her presence in the image.One also tends to linger longer on the image than usual as one wonders what the little girl is pondering upon.
