The landscapes of the USA are known for their wide open expanses, especially around the Great Basin. I would like to see your photos showing wide open natural landscapes of this stunning country in all its glory. I only want to see natural landscapes so nothing man made. Please ensure your shot is captured in one of the 50 states of the USA and not a territory. I only want to see wide open views, so please no slot canyons or similar features. For my judging, preference will be given to images with good composition, soft natural lighting and unique perspectives. I look forward to seeing your images.
Every photo submitted will be available for the crowd to rate once the submissions period has ended. You can see all the images uploaded to a contest, but will need to rate them to see how they’re ranked once the rating period begins.
Some contests on Photocrowd also have a judge. After the submission period closes the judge chooses their favourite images and writes some image reviews. The crowd and judge results will be announced on the same day.
