absolute cracker of a shot what an enormous trout. The composition of the shot is great with the Osprey not perfectly central, positioned slightly towards the right. I love the way you have the whole splash in the shot and have not cropped that away. I think that is for me what makes this image great. The motion blur i the wings of the Osprey and the tail of the trout are fantastic. The colours in the background a warm a pleasing to the eye without distraction excellent image very well done.
Outstanding Capture great detail and composition the image caught my eye instantly while browsing through. The rule of thirds works great in the image and the space before and after the birds looks spot on. The light on the day looks to have been very favorable. And lack of shadows in the image lends its self to some fantastic detail. The small bird in its talons hold clarity too. Pin sharp high speed captures are few and far between and this is a fantastic example.

Fantastic Picture of a red-shouldered hawk. The detail in the feathers are great and the composition is excellent. I like the way the snake is catching the light from the sun. The exposure of the image is good and the feathers hold there clarity well. The look of concentration in the birds eye draws me in to the image. The background in clean and free of distraction. Overall a fantastic image a pleasure to view and review.
I love an image that tells a story and this most certainly does. The motion blur in the wings gives you a real sense of motion. The eyes are what really caught my eye the catch light works. The detail in the two owls is fantastic and its amazing how at over 10,000 iso this image looks so great. Very well done.
Breath taking Image of a White tailed eagle. Composition really cough my eye. The colours in the image are great, and the detail is very striking. The look of determination on the Eagle face is amazing. The cool tone in the image really draws me in and the crisp clean background is excellent. A brilliant picture very well done indeed.

In this contest I would like to see your photos of wild birds of prey with their prey. The birds can be in flight or on the ground. Birds of prey can be challenging to photograph at the best of times, but catching them with their prey is another matter. I look forward to seeing your entries.
