Loved this photo. A bit different to the majority being a wider angled shot. I liked the sunset colours in the sky as well. A worthy winner

This was always going to be in the top ten. Superb photo. Lovely and sharp and the background works well to keep the interest in the deer. Thanks for entering

A very charming photo. I like the way they are looking at each other almost with affection. The vignette/blur around the side lead to the main subject or subjects of the photo. Worthy second place.

Loved the lighting on this. Picking a top ten was extremely hard and yours was a worthy one of them.

This caught my eye from the start. Very similar to a few images I'd caught back near Bristol. I like the way the path leads off into the distance and the roe deer is nice and sharp. A worthy 3rd place.

This was very close to top ten. I liked the colouring and scene around the stag which is nicely framed and not too distracting in my opinion. Thanks for entering

This was totally unique. Only contemporary/composite that caught my eye in all 800+ entries. Not normally the sort of thing I like but you've made it work combining the blur of the trees and the sharpness of the deer. Great effort and thanks for entering.

I did like this photo, I would have been tempted to either try and reposition myself (Appreciate not possible if deer would get spooked) or attempt to remove the branches in front of the deer's head in photoshop. I had a similar image but of 3 deer lined up in a snowy wood making a nice Christmas scene. Unfortunately, some overgrown grass/bushes etc were sticking out in front of the deer's head whereas the other two were fine. I ended up attempting to photoshop the clutter out which didn't work. My solution was to copy one of the other heads and modify to fit the deer and hense have no grass/bushes/branches in the way. Hope this helps :)

Loved this. I like the wider entries to get more of the landscape in. Well worthy of a commend, thanks for entering.
