Wow....If there was a long jump competition for wildebeest's, this guy would win a gold medal. I wonder if the wildebeest was trying to leap over the entire river. The photographer has done an excellent job in framing this photo. Mama and her calf on the right are taking baby steps and the one on the left is struggling with the current. This I believe brings about the scale of the jump.

What a lovely photo...the cute little calf leads her mother and the elder siblings. The entire family appears connected and in motion. The calf is under the shadow of Mama, Mama's tusks are touching the calf's ears, and Mama's tail is touching the trunk of one of the siblings.

What an amazing experience you had, probably one you continue to cherish. I can imagine the trumpeting and other sounds off the rest of the herd when they realised their little one was being attacked by a Lion. Considering this was taken before the digital age it truly is a masterpiece.
Congratulations on 3rd
A tack sharp image of a cheetah at high speed. You can even see the cheetah's nail. The photographer's skills in action photography are excellent, the focus is spot on, a high shutter speed has been used to capture the action. What makes this photo for me is the cheetah in mid air with the tail stretched out

I love the eye level photo of the rabbits running directly at the photographer. The photographer's skills have been demonstrated by capturing this excellent photo. The photo is tack sharp, has an excellent bokeh and you can see the water droplets of the morning dew. The warm morning light adds to the overall mood of this photo.

I am looking for your photos of wild mammals that are on the move. They could be walking, running, or jumping but must be in the wild. Please only enter photos of mammals, no other type of animal such as birds. It must be evident in your photo that the mammal is in motion. Images can be in colour or black and white.
Amazing photo of this cheetah sprinting. It looks like the cheetah may be chasing some prey. The photo is tack sharp with great detail in the cheetah, from the whiskers to the nails. The puff of dust suggests it must be travelling at some speed. The photographer has done an excellent job of freezing the motion with a high shutter speed.
