Wildfires - during or after

This photo is beautiful. I can imagine standing there in the dead silence as the fog moves. You succeeded in evoking the sadness, desolation and destruction of a fire, all while finding the absolute, stunning beauty beneath. I am amazed.

This photo is astounding! Except for the heli itself, it looks like a painting instead of a photo. You did very well catching the contrast of the trees against the smoke. I also love how you got the refraction of the fires light off the smoke! Makes this very eerie. Great job!

I don't know what it is about this photo, but I love it. The way you placed the tire tracks so they ran through the middle of the photo is visually engaging and evokes various emotions. Very, very great shot.

I love this photo so much! There's nothing quite as striking, in my opinion, as the contrast between charred trees and a fresh layer of snow. You captured it perfectly. Very beautiful, definitely top 10 worthy. Very, very good job!
