Wildlife and Nature - 25 and under

This image is a great example of the macro genre and reveals a world we don’t usually get to see. The vibrant yellow colour of the bee makes it stand out from the crowd. The tight crop works well and highlights the strange alien look that insects all around us have.

What a great shot! The vibrant colours all work harmoniously in the frame and the end result is striking. The photographer has done a great job to keep the whole of the grasshopper sharp and the framing against the plain green backdrop means it stands out from the crowd.

Kyle has created this great cinematic result by using different coloured lighting. Not only has he shown great technical skills with this aspect the framing of the shot is strong, and the inclusion of manmade environment reveals our relationship with the urban fox.

This image is a wonderful example of photojournalism highlighting the wonder of seeing marine life at aquariums, and how they are important for inspiring us all in an environment we don't usually experience. The black and white finish adds to the overall effect.

The photographer has done well to keep the deer in focus and it's a very sweet pose that invites the viewer in. The composition could be slightly neater, and be careful with the exposure as there are some blown highlights in the background which distract from the main subject.
