This contest is open to subscribers (members on the Challenger, Pro and Master subscription tiers). However if you're not a paying subscriber you can still purchase entries for £2 (GBP) per image.
All wildlife has need of, or will come into contact with, water over the course of their daily lives. Others, such as swimming animals, wetland plants or creatures that eat fish, etc, rely on it more than most. From a photographic perspective, this can offer the opportunity to capture some really interesting moments. Knowing, beforehand, a little about different animal behaviours and their needs when it comes to water will help you to anticipate the shots that may present themselves.

How it works
Every photo submitted will be available for the crowd to rate once the submissions period has ended. You can see all the images uploaded to a contest, but will need to rate them to see how they’re ranked once the rating period begins.
Some contests on Photocrowd also have a judge. After the submission period closes the judge chooses their favourite images and writes some image reviews. The crowd and judge results will be announced on the same day.
