This is a very powerful image which got my attention right away. The aperture gives us plenty of detail and the textures and harshness of the scene really come to life. I particularly like the slight element of motion blur, adding drama. The words themselves are representative, in their captured form, of a day frozen in time - exactly what the image serves to do. Congratulations.
Oh, I love how dramatic this frame is! The composition, exposure and framing all work together to make a particularly impactful frame.: the parallel lines; the face looking at the sign, boldly lit and landing on the clock referenced in the words. I particularly appreciate the exposure which contributes to well to the readability of the frame. Congratulations.

I love the utter simplicity of this image which I find very striking indeed. The off-centre composition is unexpectedly pleasing, The colour in the exit signs adds interest and drama. The exposure is excellent. The words are an essential element in the frame. It's a great example of less is more in composition. Congratulations.

**This contest is open to photographers ranked between 1 and 250 in this week’s Leaderboard.** Everywhere we look, words and letters surround us. Not on a walk through the fields usually, but everywhere else that there is a message to convey, a product to sell, a shop to entice you in, or a book on a shelf. Graffiti artists tell you things on walls, and signs tell us the name that’s been given to a street. Turning any words or letters you come across into an interesting image for sharing is the challenge laid down with this contest.
