This studio shot stood out from the rest of the pack. tack sharp and beautifully lit. I like the way that the photographer has clearlly carefully selected appropriate clothing and props. The expression on the children suits the evacuee theme superbly. And I like the way you have kept the background uncluttered and resisted the temptation to put someting in during editing - the simplicity pulls you into the subjects. Great photo - thanks for sharing - and well done!
I liked this photo becuase of the subjet matter - I've never seen a 'Rock Ape' re-enactor let alone a photograph of one! Subject is very sharp and I am impressed by the way that contrast has been used to make him stand out from the aircraft despite a small aperture being used. The aircraft adds context to the subject without becoming a distraction (very similar in that respect to the Memphis Belle photo in my top ten). And B&W was absollutely the right choice.

Interesting photo this - and proof that the simpler subjects work best! I noticed that you shot with a slow shutter speed (1/25) and am impressed that you kept the camera still enough to retain sharpness. If it was handheld - hats off to you! I particularly liked the toning you used in editing - adds to the cold, foreboding effect. Good shot!
