Young Weather Photographer of the Year 2020

Part of Weather Photographer of the Year 2020

Open Judging Results
Brief

The results of the Young Weather Photographer of the Year 2020 will be announced on Saturday 17th October 2020.

The Royal Meteorological Society Young Weather Photographer of the Year Award 2020 in association with AccuWeather aims to encourage and recognise the younger generation of weather photographers.

The weather in its many forms can make for some of the most stunning photography. With a constantly changing subject, you may be in the right place at the right time to capture a dream shot or have put a lot of preparation and patience into ensuring the perfect photo. We are seeking those images that showcase the sometimes dramatic and always fascinating story and impact of weather. Please view our What is weather?' tab for more information.

The expert judges' winner will win the title of 'Young Weather Photographer of the Year' and a HERO7 Go Pro. The 2nd place runner up will win a year's membership to RMetS.
