Young Weather Photographer of the Year 2021

In association with The Royal Meteorological Society

Open Judging Results
Brief

The Royal Meteorological Society Young Weather Photographer of the Year Award 2021 aims to encourage and recognise the younger generation of weather photographers.

The weather in its many forms can make for some of the most stunning photography. With a constantly changing subject, you may be in the right place at the right time to capture a dream shot or have put a lot of preparation and patience into ensuring the perfect photo. We are seeking those images that showcase the sometimes dramatic and always fascinating story and impact of weather. Please view our What is weather?' tab for more information.

Please also add as much detail as possible in your form to describe the image, location and what equipment you have used.

This category is for photographers aged between 13 and 17. In this category the judges will choose the image that impresses them most and a runner-up.

Earn the title of 'Young Weather Photographer of the Year 2021', plus other great prizes for the winner and runner-up.

The winner of this category will earn the title of 'Young Weather Photographer of the Year 2021', a $350 (USD) voucher for REI*, a copy of the book "Weather: A Force of Nature – Spectacular images from Weather Photographer of the Year", and a one year membership of the Royal Meteorological Society.
