This image jumped out of the screen at me when viewing the entries, the tiger with the striking vibrant colours and the post editing really works well, i could see this hanging on my wall as a large canvas, I would like to have seen more info on the post editing done by the photographer but still a worthy winning image

An image that stood out for me capturing the moment as the zebra foal playfully kicked out using the correct shutter speed the photographer was able to capture the moment and the post processing works well blurring out the background and i think that B&W works with this image well done to the photographer

I have seen quite a few peakcock images in this competition but this image as it all a worthy top 3 image, the composition, framing and its sharp in all the right places, the lighting is perfect achieved by using the correct settings, all the eyes on the feathers draw me into the image everytime i view it very well done to the photographer keep up the good work

**This contest is open to photographers ranked between 1 and 250 in this week’s Leaderboard.** Giving us an up-close opportunity to photograph a wide variety of exotic and interesting animals, zoos and safari parks are a great place to spend time with your camera, and don’t require super-long lenses to get intimate shots. There can be questions over the ethicality of poorly run and financed zoos and safari parks, but when done well they are great for education, and often have important breeding programs for endangered species. Any zoo and safari park animal images are welcome in the contest, as are images of zoos and safari parks more broadly, that may not even have animals in the picture.
