My images are the result of curious and courageous wanders. Into unknown lands and unknown cultures. It makes me become alive. It gives the opportunity to make something visible. Including myself. To connect. With myself. But also, with others. Most of my work is a testimony of a lived experience. Time spent in a place. With people. Days. Weeks. Months. With no agenda to the picture taking. It is about being in the moment. In whatever reality is. Observing and being. Feeling. Photography as an art in league with life. Storytelling. How is identity formed ? Belonging ? How do we relate to others ? To ourselves ? Our need for community. Social interaction. But also solitude. My work is an ongoing discovery and search for that.
