I'm retired and have taken up photography when I lost my job due to ill health. I have quite severe mobility problems and chronic pain. Taking photos, editing them and using them for all sort of things gives me a creative outlet and lets me forget my disability and pain. The exhilaration when a shot comes finally right gives me a buzz and carries me forward like nothing else.
