My interest in photography started back in high school but ebbed and flowed with life's events - marriage, children, holidays, family get togethers, new locations, trips, etc. If I had to classify what I do, I would put it in the category of photo realism/documentation We've spent and spend lots of time in The Bahamas. My main interests here are birds, community events, and being on the water to document Bahamian sloops at the various regattas. Photocrowd has allowed me to examine other people's work and learn from it and the contests have pushed me to find new subject matter, even if on a remote island where you think you've exhausted your ideas.
