Alan Smith

I am an amateur photographer, filmmaker and writer. I've been a category winner in the British Wildlife Photography Awards (2019) and the Digital Camera Photographer of the Year (2018). I am a retired schoolteacher and, before that, I used to work as a film editor and journalist for a major broadcaster. I mainly photograph wildlife but also shoot landscapes and cityscapes. I make publicity films for small charities and NGOs and training videos for larger organisations.
