Travel Photographer

Traveller by vocation, photographer by passion. Having earned a degree in Information Science & Technology, technology is now both a profession and a hobby. I have always worked for the world’s biggest IT technology players which has allowed me to grow my passion for photography. Every year I take part in photography travels with my only aim to excel myself and grow a stunning portfolio.

The first "important" gift I received when I was 6 year old – a Kodak compact film camera. It was more of a toy than anything serious, but I felt immediately that I was under its spell. After that, I changed several models and brands, testing, discovering, learning, studying, but I decided to bring my work to a more serious level when I bought my first DSLR – a Nikon D40. Again, this was more a toy than a DSLR, but the results were already stunning. I almost immediately changed it for a Nikon D300 when I found its first limits. Now I shoot with 2 Nikons: a D800 and a D810, and I'm pretty satisfied with their performances.

I’ve grown a large base of followers on the main social networks: Instagram, Facebook, Flickr, Pinterest and Twitter where I’ve amassed a total of more than 150,000 followers and a great amount of daily engagement. A lot of fans ask for advice and help, which for me is a little strange and emotional!

Lately, with some other passionate friends I put together a small photography group, Shutter Guild. It is oriented to gather people, knowledge and skills. Through it I’m planning travels, workshops, and a lot more photography activities.

I’m really proud that in 2017 I’ve been selected by Irix Lens to be part of their Ambassador Program, as their Italian Ambassador. Since then, I’ve been using their fantastic technology to push to the limits the concept of Landscape Photography and developing a new aspect of my own style.

My next steps…? Grow and learn to improve my photography and travel the whole world to gather the best possible shots.
