I was born and raised in Kent, South East England, not too far from London. I’ve been able to call myself a professional travel & portrait photographer (and the director of the odd music video) since 2013 and have been fortunate to have worked with some amazing clients in this short time, including: PIXAPRO, Olympus, Syco Entertainment, Universal Music, Sony Music, Ben Sherman, The Metro and Panasonic. I’ve also photographed famous bands and artists such as Pixie Lott, The Vamps, Sam Smith, Paloma Faith, UB40, Nerina Pallot, Boyce Avenue (YouTube phenomenon), to name but a few.
Travelling is where I get to combine all my loves into one; creating memorable images & videos, meeting new & truly inspiring people along the way, and finding new recipes for avocados (no joke). I travel as often as I can because I relish experiencing different cultures and ways of life. My most recent personal trip to India was picked up by an Indian excursion company called ‘Indian Odyssey’ and I was offered to lead a photographic tour around the cities of Agra, Lucknow and Varanasi, which was a fantastic testimony to the power of photography.
The key to success is progression, so whenever possible I plan my next personal project. My personal projects allow me to test and try out new techniques that I can fine tune before using them in commercial assignments. Doing this as often as I have has definitely made me a much better photographer; why retread what other photographers have done before, when you can deliver your client something unique?
