This photograph was captured on the coast of Hudson Bay, in Wapusk National Park (Canada), in the middle of a large blizzard. A place where, at the beginning of November, many polar bears (Ursus maritimus) gather waiting for the sea to freeze so they can go into the sea to hunt seals.
You can see how the polar bear shakes off all the snow that has fallen on it in the middle of the storm, forming a large curtain of snow thanks to the strong wind. It is surprising that with such unfavorable conditions these animals feel so comfortable. This is the reason why they are in danger of extinction since warming is occurring in the Arctic as a consequence of climate change, and therefore their habitat is being limited. #animal #polar bears
