Trained as an architect and in art history, Pierre D’Amours practice photography since 1999. His subjects of predilection are the urban and rural landscapes modified by the human activity. Increasing awareness of the cultural value inherent in the landscape and building heritage is key to his work. The luminous transfiguration occurring during the day and also color and composition are the elements of the alchemy behind his image making process.
