Pete

Pete Mutschler is a photographer based in Winona Minnesota. Pete's website can be found at PJMImage.com . He went to the University of Wisconsin - Madison and studied natural resources and journalism. It was in college he was able to develop his love for photography, especially working with black and white images. He was able to spent a short but very meaningful time studying with Professor Fritz Albert. It was under Professor's Alberts instruction that Pete realized that photography was more than selecting a good subject and producing a clear image. Pete then spent the next 35 years working for Farmer Cooperatives as an Environment and Safety Professional. He was able to incorporate photography into his career but never to the extent he wanted to. Now that he has retired from his environment and safety career he has devoted a lot more time and effort to learning and growing his skill set. Digital tools have greatly enhanced the art along with the tools available to share the final projects. Being able to study other people's work in museums and on sites such as Photocrowd is critical to Pete's further improvement.
