I started shooting pictures with a real 35mm camera in 1974 got an Olympus OM2 then an OM2s before that just used old Kodaks point & shoot.. I pretty much learned from reading photo books and magazines attended some workshops . I got into doing weddings for a short time as a side job and had my own color darkroom. I love shooting nature scenes and animals lot of birds. I also Volunteer with the Forest Preserve of Cook County IL so I'm out in the woods and trails so have opportunities for capturing nature and wildlife. I have been published in a few Forest Preserve newletters and their guide to the Forest Preserve publications. I belong to a couple Camera Clubs and belong to a few Photography Meetup groups. My first digital camera was an old Olympus 500 DL 850,000 pixels then I got a Nikon D5100 and now shoot with a Nikon D500 . Update I now shoot with the Nikon Z8 the settings are somthing else I also got new Z lenes 24-70 F2.8 180-600 zoom and 105 F2.8 Macro also got a Z mount Tamron lens 70-300 F4.5
