An Essex boy born and bread, married with two children and two grand children. Now happily retired. Only took up photography seriously in 2015. Attended three or four photo workshops run by a local professional photographer whose aim was to get me off the 'auto setting' which she achieved. I have since joined 3 local camera/photography clubs and several photography based Facebook groups. I am enjoying trying out various different types of photography genre. The one area which I really enjoy is portraiture followed by street photography for which I have now built up quite a portfolio. That said, I also enjoy landscape, waterscape and macro photography.
