Ryan Koopmans (BA, MFA) is a Canadian/Dutch photographer. He was raised on Vancouver Island, Canada, completed his undergraduate education in Vancouver, and in 2012 received a Masters of Fine Art Photography + Video at The School of Visual Arts in New York City. With a focus on composition and form, he is known for his architecture and fine art photography but often shoots travel, lifestyle and fashion content for clients around the world. In 2016 he was named as one of PDN’s 30 photographers to watch in their annual list of talent, and continues to be awarded by renowned institutions for his photography that crosses the genres of lifestyle, architecture, travel and fine art.
