IGraduated from Virginia Commonwealth University in 1977, a BFA with emphasis on glassblowing, ceramics and art history. My first photography experience was in 1977 using a Nikkormat and working in a darkroom. I have spent most of my artistic career as a ceramist and then as a fine jeweler. I finally returned to photgraphy, this time digital, and have enjoyed working in many genres of photography including the creation of forms related to painting through photography.
