Seth Kottler

When asked about who his greatest inspiration was in life, Seth Kottler fondly reflected on his childhood. He had the privilege of growing up with an artistic father and a grandfather with a heightened sense of adventure. Inheriting his father's eye for art and his grandfather's love for learning about different cultures gave Seth the kickstart he needed early in life to become a successful photographer. From a photography enthusiast simply shooting for personal fulfillment to a professional photographer, Seth is proud to offer his Fine Art Photography.  A large portion of Seth Kottler's aesthetic was born from his profound rooted experiences growing up as a person with bi-racial ancestry in the South. The rich culture of the South gave him much inspiration and differing perspectives so much so he chose to channel his photography style to the darker vibe and truth of the southern culture. Likewise, some of his most significant influences include, but are not limited to, the music of John Lee Hooker and Marilyn Manson, the art of Salvador Dali and Tim Burton, and the writings of Stephen King and William Faulkner. In addition, whole geographic locations such as New Orleans and Wyoming significantly influence his photography.  Now, Seth brings all of his experience and more to the art of capturing and editing enticing images. He draws gripping inspiration from styles such as Abstract Photography, German Expressionism, and even Neo-Expressionism. He finds it fulfilling to share his artistic expressionistic fine-art photography and hopes for his captured images to motivate others to follow their desire to make their hobbies and passions public.  Even when he is not working, Seth is constantly enhancing his aesthetic and his goal to use images to move people and compel them to respect the beauty each picture holds. He aims to influence others to think outside of the box and to share his love for the process of creating emotion-evoking images.
