I’m Christopher J. Drake, a beekeeper, artist, and nature photographer based in Michigan, USA. My work focuses on the delicate balance between humans and the natural world — often through the lens of honeybees, pollinators, and the landscapes that sustain them. Combining a background in creative design and of beekeeping, I strive to capture the unseen beauty of pollination, the resilience of life, and the artistry found in every wingbeat. My photography often celebrates renewal, craftsmanship, and environmental awareness — inspired by my own apiary, Blackjack Apiary. When not behind the camera or the hive, I design visual works for environmental contests and community projects, sharing stories that connect creativity and conservation while addressing bees importance to our very own survival.
